Hello,

I am Pastor Hyoung Min Kim(Hannah Kim), the senior pastor of ShineChildren Church.

I dream of “ a world without condemnation”.

It may not be possible in reality, but I always live with this dream in my heart. After all, the kingdom of heaven belongs to those who are like children, doesn’t it?

I failed my college entrance exam and had to spend one more year. I even suffered the humiliation which was too bad to speak up from the authority in elementary school. And I had to work as a maid while I studied in the United States due to my father’s business failure.

I lived with condemnation which was deep in my heart, coming from the gap between rich and poor, the discrimination based on skin color, and the violence of power.

By the way, Since I met Jesus, I’ve been able to resolve my sense of condemnation.

There are still many children and young people in the world, and someone reading this who are struggling with the feeling of condemnation.

I still dream of a world without condemnation through Jesus.

In the name of Jesus, I welcome all of you who have visited the website of Shine Church.

Philosophy for ministry

That new life was children and the next generation.

God promised that such spiritual children would multiply like the stars in the sky (Genesis 26:4),

and He gave me a passion to find children who would not just drift away into the world, but would be used by God and the world, to discover their talents, and to establish them.

That is why I call myself a “jeweler.”

I find children who are like gemstones, raise them with God’s words and prayers, and establish them as shining jewels in the world.

The desire to protect and pass on a “beautiful earth” where these children, the next generation, can live well with God’s heart developed into environmental missions and created the Environmental Research Institute.

Ultimately, the beginning and the center of the heart are children.

We must make these children have an absolute identity as children of God, beloved children. That is why I created the “Shine Research Institute” to raise the identity of children of light.

I emphasize three spiritualities so that our children can have the identity of children of light.

Gratitude, joy, and faith.

These three are called “Shine Spirituality.”

Gratitude is “absolute gratitude” regardless of conditions and circumstances (1 Thessalonians 5:18),

Joy is “absolute joy” that rejoices in the Lord no matter what unfortunate or unfortunate situation (Hab. 3:17-19),

And faith is “absolute faith” that God’s covenant and words will be fulfilled in the future (Heb. 11:1).

In order to create the identity of children of light, I guide them to practice the word, prayer, and praise every day.

My sacred dream is for the next generation with this absolute faith to send out seven thousand people to the nations like the Moravians, the first Christian missionary community, until the Lord returns.

Ultimately, it is about identity.

Therefore, to put pastoral ministry in one word, it is to establish the next generation in the nations with an identity that is worthy of being children of light.

Since I began to believe in Jesus, I have been interested in new life.

That new life was children and the next generation.
